Your First Visit
When you arrive, our team will welcome you to our office and have you complete some necessary forms with them. Next, one of our team members will take you on a tour of the office so you can become better acquainted with our facility. As a new guest in our office we like to get to know you a better, so one of our team members will sit down with you to review our acquaintance form. After that Dr. McCoy will be introduced to you, assess your health history, discuss any concerns and complete any xrays needed for further diagnosis. Your personal thoughts should be shared at this time so he can understand your expectations. He will explain his philosophy of comprehensive patient care and take you on a tour of your mouth using an intra-oral live camera so that you can see what the doctor sees. This camera also magnifies the image 25x so that fine details that may have never been seen before can be evaluated. After Dr. McCoy shares his findings with you, the appropriate appointments can be reserved. And to create better clarity with our patients, one of our team members will review a closing packet of information. In this packet we hope to answer most of your questions or concerns, plus it is yours to keep to show your family and friends.

We do set aside emergency time in our daily schedule. If you have an emergency situation during our regularly scheduled office hours, please call us as soon as possible so we can relieve your discomfort. If it isn't during normal business hours, please leave a message on our business phone extention 12 and then call the emergency contact number provided. Please remember, most uncomfortable emergency treament can usually be avoided with regular dental care visits. If you are a new patient that is seen during non-business hours, please come prepared to pay in full for services received. Since you weren't a patient of record prior to this visit and there will be no administrative staff present to assist you with insurance matters this policy is a necessity. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express as forms of payment for new patient emergency visits. If you have insurance, our administrative staff will contact you our next business day to get the information and process your dental claim.
